Awesome!

I now have this photo on the wall in my own living room. I really love it, so thank you for your comment.

Artist's Description

Burney Falls in northern California is a magnificent example of a waterfall fed by an underground water source. Even when the creek above the falls is dry, the volume of water flowing down the falls is the same.

About Denise Dethlefsen

Denise Dethlefsen

I am from a family with many artistic talents - drawing and painting, cartooning, music and writing. But until I received my first SLR camera as an anniversary gift from my husband several years ago, I had not found an artistic form I was comfortable with. I find an almost instinctive creativity when I look through the viewfinder, but the precision involved in experimenting with composition, depth of field, range of view, motion and so forth seems to satisfy the logical side of my brain as well. Having lived in northern California, and now living in Colorado affords many opportunities for beautiful natural photographs, while giving me opportunities to experiment with the graphical and abstract forms also found in ordinary subjects.
